Games and Leisure
Besides just plain relaxation around the casita whirlpool, enjoy lounging in your hammock or sun chaise. We also have bocce, croquet, board games and dominos that you can borrow.
1. La Tiendita
We built this 10’ by 10’ replica of my Grandfather’s general store that originally was on our 30 acre farm and was operating until the end of 2000. A perfect place to enjoy the afternoon breezes with a bottle of wine or cocktail, or just hang out listening to music on the radio and playing dominos, cards or a board game. Please let us know when you would like to visit so we can open for you.
2. Bocce
Bocce is a ball sport belonging to the boules family, closely related to British bowls and French pétanque, with a common ancestry from ancient games played in the Roman Empire. The full set is available at the main house or can be set up for guests with a little notice.
3. Croquet
Croquet is a sport that involves hitting plastic or wooden balls with a mallet through hoops (often called "wickets" in the United States) embedded in a grass playing court. This croquet set is available at the main house and can be set up for guests with a little notice.
4. Private Massage
Professional therapeutic massage is available upon request in the privacy of your own casita. All appointments should be made one week prior to the date of service.
